My name is Tanasia and I’m a recent college grad, aspiring journalist and dancer. During my senior year of college, I discovered I had an anxiety disorder. It’s been a journey to say the least! Each day, I try to find new, effective ways to manage my anxiety so that I can continue living life with ease.
This blog will not only feature stories about my experience with anxiety, but also touch on little known facts and misconceptions about anxiety disorders, tips on managing the symptoms of anxiety, testimonials from other young adults living with anxiety, and so much more.
As a young, black woman, I find it especially important to promote mental health and wellness and encourage those who need help to seek it, unapologetically. Remember, you’re never alone!
